The history of the restaurant

In Geneva, in the kitchen of Cecilia Zapata, a passionate self-taught chef, her memories of childhood and adolescence intertwine. His tasty cuisine and Peruvian specialties were a permanent tribute to his parents. His creations have thus revisited Nikkei, Chifa, Novo-Andean, Amazonian and coastal (Criolla) cuisine. His reinterpretation of Peruvian specialties with ancestral techniques and molecular cuisine has conquered thousands of palates in Switzerland and around the world. Our dear Cecilia left us in 2022, after passing on her talent and passion to her daughters. Alexandra, Cecilia's eldest daughter, took over the family restaurant. She grew up among the Peruvian flavors and culinary secrets of her mother. She inherited from her mother the love for gastronomy and the passion that she was able to pass on to her. Today, Alexandra is at the head of Pachacamac and accompanied by her loyal brigade, she continues a tradition imbued with flavors, culture and family unity.
